The Experimental Cultural Intervention Group (GEIC) was created on October 3, 1990, in the heart of Lisbon (Misericórdia). GEIC is the product of the young students' of Arts desire to support and promote artists in the public presentation of their projects. The intervention areas include Plastic Arts, Literature, Music, Dance, Theater, Video, Photography, among others.

Over the years, GEIC has promoted: plastic art and photography exhibitions; book and magazine editions; video shows; musical projects and soundtracks; artistic meetings and retreats; internships; workshops; debates and colloquia; participation in international meetings; promotion of urban / rural exchanges.

It was through these initiatives that many artists (painters, sculptors, writers, directors, actors, musicians, photographers and designers) saw their work being spread and displayed in the most varied spaces in the country and abroad.

By becoming a member, you are contributing to the dissemination of artists' work and benefit from privileged conditions in access to artistic activities, promoted by GEIC.
